The ESL Center was started in 2012 after the Los Angeles Unified School District cut funds for Adult Education . The center was opened to help students learn and improve their English. The focus is learning common expressions and questions students can use today.
The ESL Center is different from most adult schools where the emphasis is on grammar and very little conversation. The ESL Center focuses heavily on conversation and syllabication which is the key to helping students speak quickly.
Students are given a written exam when they enter and homework weekly. It is homework, daily attendance and testing that has students speaking in as little as 2 to 4 months. Come in for a FREE class !
