About The ESL Center

The ESL Center was started in 2012 after the Los Angeles Unified School District cut funds for Adult Education . The center was opened to help students learn and improve their English. The focus is learning common expressions and questions students can use today.

The ESL Center tutors students individually. The ESL Center focuses heavily on conversation and syllabication which is the key to helping students speak quickly.

Students are given a written exam when they enter and weekly homework. It is homework, daily attendance and testing that has students speaking in as little as 3 to 6 months.
